When:  May 17, 2018 from 13:00 to 14:00 (ET)
VHMA WEBINAR: Find Hidden Treasure in Your Workflows
Thursday, May 17, 2018
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm ET

The informal methods that hospitals follow to keep the organization up and running may be adequate, but are not always the most effective and efficient application of resources and personnel. Streamlining workflow can improve efficiency by ensuring that all parts of the process are coordinated and managed properly.

In this session, participants will focus on the importance of identifying, documenting and measuring the steps involved in completing specific workflows in different areas of the hospital in order to make improvements and implement change to increase efficiency.

Key discussion topics will include:

  *   Definition of Workflows
  *   Identification of "Bottlenecks" in the practice
  *   Replacement with Technology
  *   Re-purposing of the staff
  *   Actionable Time-motion KPI development

This session will present a strategy that participants can apply to their business processes to uncover hidden treasures and improve business operations.
