Melody Mann Fox, CPA, joined Burzenski & Company in 1984. In January of 2014 she became a partner of the firm. Prior to that she had served as the firm’s director of client services with the responsibility for providing guidance and leadership to clients related to accounting, computer technology and work flow management. Additionally, she offered training and supervision to the firm’s new employees and internal staff.

Ms. Mann Fox specializes in the field of veterinary practice management and has expertise in financial management and tax planning. As a member of the QuickBooks® Certified ProAdvisors Program, she is instrumental in helping veterinarians with accounting software issues. Her experience with veterinary practice accounting and veterinary software helps clients improve their systems and understand difficult or confusing software applications. She supports the financial staff of clients through problem resolution and offering advice to improve internal record-keeping systems.

She delivers financial statements and other resources to provide valuable assistance to veterinary practice owners and managers in their decision-making processes. She presents an analysis of the practice’s results with industry statistics and published studies. Additionally, she offers financial forecasting which includes tax planning, solutions to minimize tax burdens and planning for cash requirements.

She is a graduate of Bryant University in Rhode Island with degrees in business administration and accounting. Ms. Mann Fox is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a published writer and nationwide speaker regarding budgeting, QuickBooks® and bookkeeping issues.
