VHMA Webinar: Inventory: Principles for Efficiency and Financial Success
Thursday, June 13, 2019
1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET

Inventory is the second largest cost center for veterinary practices, consuming 20% to 30% of all revenue brought in, yet it is often an area of neglect in many practices. This session examines the inventory function of the practice holistically, exploring efficient processes for determining what to order, purchasing from vendors, receiving, and reconciling. Guest speaker Alexander Kates will present strategies for minimizing inventory costs and maximizing pharmacy resale profits, to ensure an efficient inventory system.

Speaker:
Alexander Kates is Cofounder and CEO of Vetcove, a free-to-use platform to research, compare, and buy the products practices need to run their hospitals. He grew up working at his father's equine veterinary practice and is passionate about animal health, the veterinary profession, and veterinary inventory. Before founding Vetcove, Alex founded GRX, a digital marketing education firm that trains pharma company executives in digital strategy. He is a coauthor of the book Strategic Digital Marketing (McGraw-Hill © 2014), which has been translated into two languages and is required reading in more than a dozen MBA and executive education programs. He graduated summa cum laude and first in his class from Cornell University.

This webinar is free to everyone.
