Program Overview
This comprehensive six-hour in-person workshop is designed to provide managers with a fundamental understanding of financial management tailored specifically to veterinary hospitals. Tiffany N. Consalvo, CVPM, CCFP
Tiffany Consalvo is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) and Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP) with over two decades of experience in the veterinary profession. She began her career in 2000 at a small companion animal hospital in Crawfordsville, Indiana. A proud Purdue University graduate, she earned her B.S. in Animal Science in 2006 and immediately stepped into veterinary management, accepting her first leadership role at Paw Prints Animal Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana.
During her tenure at Paw Prints, Tiffany developed and implemented a remote management structure that allowed her to successfully lead the practice after relocating to Pennsylvania. In 2011, she became the Practice Manager at Gilbertsville Veterinary Hospital, where she cultivated a highly effective team and established a strong owner-manager partnership.
Tiffany’s expertise lies in financial management, operational efficiency, and team development. Her contributions to veterinary practice leadership include:
- Financial Strategy & Growth – Developing and managing budgets to drive profitability while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Labor Cost Control – Implementing strategies to optimize staff labor expenses and achieve consistent EBITDA growth.
- Operational Improvement – Utilizing financial reporting and performance analytics to enhance practice efficiency.
- Leadership Development – Guiding veterinary teams in aligning financial goals with hospital objectives through effective communication and mentorship.
Beyond her hands-on management experience, Tiffany serves as the Director of Practice Leadership & Operations with Encore Vet Group, supporting veterinary teams nationwide. She is also the owner and speaker at Veterinary Management Solutions, where she provides education and consulting on practice leadership, financial management, and communication strategies.
Her commitment to veterinary practice management extends to her long-standing involvement with the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA), where she has been an active member since 2006. Tiffany has served on the VHMA Board, participated in CVPM exam question development, and currently contributes as a member of the Education and Program Advisory Board. She also played a key role in founding P.A. Vet Managers, a regional support network that has grown into a statewide initiative in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA).
A sought-after speaker and educator, Tiffany collaborates with Patterson Veterinary University, where she has been developing and delivering educational content since 2021. She contributes blog articles, online courses, and presentations designed to elevate veterinary leadership and practice management.
Recognized for her contributions to the profession, Tiffany was honored as the 2017 Practice Manager of the Year by the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association and has been featured in industry publications such as AAHA Trends and FirstLine Magazine.
She is DiSC-certified and passionate about helping veterinary teams strengthen communication skills to improve workplace dynamics and client interactions.
